This is the website for the St Ives Birders.  If you've stumbled across this site because you want to know where to find the best pasty shop in St Ives; or you want to complain about the horrendous parking; or you want to be shown the dolphins at precisely 11:30 because you have lunch booked at 12:00, then you've come to the wrong place.  We'd suggest Makers for the pasties (Google it, kidz), the council for the parking, and, unfortunately, despite copious amounts of fish, the dolphins refuse to negotiate on performance times and we've just run out of fish.  So, you know, you might have to ... er ... wait for a bit and they usually swim past at some point.  I know! Wait?  Blimey ...

On the otherhand if you do want to know about where to go birding around St Ives, and you'd like to know what has been seen, and what is likely to be seen, and more importantly what we'd like to be seen and who we are and stuff like that - then, hey! - you HAVE come to the right place!

We'll try and post updates, summaries, general waffling and interesting stuff as often as we can.  It won't be daily - if you're really interested you can get that elsewhere - but we will chuck various things on here weekly if we can.  But don't sue us if its not weekly.  You'll probably find one of us at The Island if its urgent ...
